Are You Tired?
Hustle, grind, #TeamNoSleep. We’ve created a culture of overworking and underperforming, for what? If you want your business to succeed, you need to be able to delegate or you will never be able to scale. Sure, no matter what, there is always something to do, but are you working hard or working smart?
Delegation is Healthy
Entrepreneurs tend to be reluctant to share their tasks with people, even if they are paying them to help them. There is an attachment to a budding business, as if it’s your baby and you are the only one who can nurture it.
However, just like babies, there comes a time when you need to hand things over to others, or else you will lose your mind. You can’t juggle everything forever, so hiring experts at particular aspects of your business will not only free up your time, but increase the value of what you offer. Imagine how much better your offerings are if you have someone devoted to one task, who does it better than you, working on it 9-5, Monday to Friday.
As long as you choose the right people for the job, delegating is a good thing for you personally, and for your business.
Automation is a Game Changer
If you find yourself doing a menial, repetitive, task over and over again, taking time away from actually running your business, consider that there may be an app for that.
There has been immense progress in business software, and there are many built to automate tasks that ordinarily take up hours of your time. Things like scheduling, task management, accounting, and even sending emails, can be automated so that you can focus on what matters most. Look into what’s available and take advantage of the tools out there. Many of them are even free!
